Taking care closer to the community, Maaiya Social Change Front held a school-based health and awareness event under its Suposhan & Nirmaya program on 6 October 2026 at Birsa Bal Vikas Vidyalaya, Hocher, Ratu, Ranchi. The initiative brought together adolescent girls and healthcare professionals for a focused engagement on health, hygiene and nutrition.
With support from the Raj Hospitals team, the camp provided students with health screenings and individual consultations within their school premises. Alongside these check-ups, the event highlighted nutrition and personal hygiene as central themes of adolescent well-being bringing practical health support and awareness together in one setting.
Students gathered for consultations, healthcare personnel conducted assessments and recorded information, and a school space was transformed into a community health outreach point. It was a hands-on effort to bring care directly to the girls the program seeks to serve.
For Maaiya Social Change Front, Suposhan & Nirmaya expresses a clear commitment: to place girls’ health, nourishment and dignity at the heart of community engagement. The Hocher event carried that commitment into action through school-based outreach focused on adolescent health and awareness.
